Probably didn't fool her.

Tuesday I had a pretty average day of work, followed by a pretty good yoga class. It was an English class, but as with yesterday, both the instructor and some of the students were Chinese, so a fair amount of Mandarin got thrown in there as well. I had a much better class overall, partially because this instructor always got "right" and "left" correct. Discovered that the little cafe adjacent to the center is not as expensive as I had expected, so that's really convenient. Also, responded to a Caucasian woman who spoke to me in English in Mandarin...which I'm sure was obnoxious, but it was also unintentional, which is kind of cool. And now I'm home! Told Damin that one of my closet doors had fallen off one of its hinges (pretty exciting stuff) and he says he'll fix it next weekend. And that's my life!

A correct right & left would be very helpful. :-) Cool that the cafe is an option. Funny that you responded to the Caucasian woman in Mandarin--you must be close to that "dreaming in the other language" ideal.

I thought you and Damin were planning to move - maybe to a place with attached doors. Is that still in the works?

How cool that you are thinking in Mandarin! Soon you may also recognize what you are eating for lunch.

I always get my left and right mixed up, especially when I am giving tours and walking backwards.

You are totally becoming fluuueeeent! Awesome!

Closet doors are overrated. In fact, closets themselves are overrated. I've always preferred a stairway, myself...

Matt asked a chinese tourist to take a picture of us in mandarin, and the guy said ok in mandarin, but then was like "is this good?" in english. There was confusion.
