Friday was a relatively busy day at work, which unfortunately didn't mean it was relatively un-frustrating. Luckily, we are very close to the end now. Basically, we had to get email invitations out to all of our sponsors, but there seemed to be no time to actually think through how to have me do so, although it was very important that it be done correctly. So it meant asking a lot of questions, making a lot of strong suggestions, and having a lot of patience. Life skills, Ali, life skills.
After work I just took myself to a coffee shop to read and chill. I'm a little under the weather, so no crazy parties tonight. :p

Hope you're soon feeling better, Ali. Some reading and chilling will be good for you--also sleep & fluids.
With all the learning related to operating in a new country and language, I tend to forget that you're also learning the making-your-place-in-a-full-time-office adjustment, too. You've certainly done a boatload of learning this summer, and done it so well.
When you get home, look forward to lots of TLC and time to recharge your batteries before life at Swat.
Ali, you are SO fortunate to have such a wonderful mother (dad, too, of course!) No wonder you are turning out so well!
Hope you get some rest this weekend and feel better fast.
You know, your aunt is really awesome, too.
Get well soon!
I can read and make comments again!
feel better...
Do they have normal drugs (i.e., ibuprofen) in China? I remember in Germany it was really hard to find drug stores/pharmacies... all the "apothocaries" just sold hair product. GET WELL SOON.
