A change would do me good

Tuesday I went to work, went to yoga, and came home. I have to admit, I'm getting a little tired of some aspects of my daily life, like the long, uncomfortable bus rides carrying lots of stuff and the bug-filled, hot room that I come back to at night. I know it won't be long at all until these things and I say our bittersweet goodbyes, though.

Whew! Thank goodness! Ali, at first I feared you were so enamored with Shanghai that you would never come home to the US. I feel better now!

I predict you'll be ready to pack up that new wardrobe in a couple of weeks and say "adios" (or whatever, in mandarin) to the heat and crowds.

I know some parents that will be eagerly waiting at the airport when you land back in the U.S.

Yeah, this is the point in the summer/adventure where MELTDOWN occurs. I have to snooze my alarm 5 times in order to get up, which means I actually have to set it at 6 am to get up on time. Why is better than just having it go off once at 6:30 I'm not sure, but therein lies the mystery and frustation of the daily routine. <3
